This department prepares allergy shots (also called immunotherapy "IT") by preparing a patient's antigen.
The patient's individually prepared antigen is then administered in intervals.
We administers allergy shots "IT" to several hundred patients each week at many of our locations.
They also administer Xolair, an injection medication used for moderate to severe allergic asthma.
Special Injections staff are responsible for the Vaccine Clinic, and give several important preventative vaccines.
